In May 2019, writer director Andreas Mandas asked singer songwriter Nalyssa Green to adapt Johnny Guitar by Peggy Lee. The song would be used in his theatrical play A Clock Made of Sand, based on the writings of Borges.

While I was preparing the trailers for the play, I discussed with Andreas the idea of a music video for Nalyssa, inside the Bageion Theatre, where his play was being rehearsed. Due to her tight schedule, there was only an hour of available time.

I managed to shoot several angles, as she was walking the stairs, while looking at the empty place. During the one week editing, I juxtaposed Nalyssa's shots with shots from the rehearsals, as well as with clips from a list of classic films which Andreas had in mind.
